Harold Valentine Barber, 43, of Falls Church, Virginia, Formerly of Boca Raton, died on July 21, 2016. He was the son of the late Amzi G. Barber and Katherine Valentine Barber of Boca Raton. Harold attended Pope John Paul High School where he was an outstanding student athlete earning the Who’s Who in High School Sports Award in 1990. He was a ranked Florida tennis player. He attended Rollins College and Florida Atlantic University. After college he worked in management at Café DeLuxe, Daikaya and Bernaise restaurants in Washington, D.C. He worked with the Kimpton chain of hotel restaurants and spent many hours in feeding the homeless projects. Harold will be dearly missed by many friends and family.
