Donna Stump, beautiful wife and mother, passed away on New Year’s Eve after a ten-year battle with cancer. Originally from Germantown, PA, Donna lived in South Florida for 32 years. She graduated from the Albert Einstein Medical Center School of Nursing in Philadelphia, PA, and her early career was as a cardio-thoracic registered nurse with Dr. MichaelDeBakey in Houston, TX. She was an accomplished quilter, with many of her works displayed at a local museum. In addition, she was a playwright, and she oversaw the production of one of her musical theater pieces, “Young Mozart”, at the Little Palm Family Theater in Boca Raton. Each summer, she could most often be seen cheering in the stands of the Boca Raton Softball’s traveling tournament teams, where her daughter played for ten years. She was also very active in the Youth Orchestra of Florida, where her daughter was a cellist for six years. Donna is survived by her husband Kern, daughter Kristine and sister Margaret. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 6th at 6PM at Babione Funeral Home, 1100 Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL 33432.
