I just learned of Dale's passing and want to convey how sorry I was.  Dale and I worked together at Mylan and we had a ton of fun together.  He was about the only person I kept in touch with over the years from there.  He will be missed.

Over these past heartbreaking days, what we keep thinking about is Dale's engaging sense of humor, and the joy he took from everyday things. Whether it was the joy he found in driving over the Dixie Highway passover which he referred to as the fly over (a thrill that escapes most people), or the installation of the lights on the outside of our neighborhood (did you see those lights, look at those lights), Dale enjoyed life and made sure everyone around him did also. He was such a unique individual and we will miss him terribly, but we will cherish the memories.

Sandy, Alison, and Alex, I am so sorry for your loss, but I know Dale loved you guys more than anything and I know he was so proud of his family. He touched the lives of so many people. He was like my second dad always there for me and willing to give me advice. He talked about how much I've grown since the first time he met me but without him I honestly wouldn't be where I am today. He taught me to be a better person and opened my eyes to trying new things in life. He is one of the greatest people I have ever met in my life and I know I'll never meet another person like him. He is someone that I looked up to everyday and I can only hope to be half the man he was.  He will surely be missed but I will never forget him. You guys are my family and know I will always be here for you guys.

Sandy, Alex and Allison this was a shock and is very sad.I have known Dale since the early 80's in the Mylan days Our children are basically the same age as you girls. We'd catch up on the kids and college whenever we'd see each other or talk on the phone(which was not often enough) Dale always bragged about his girls and I know how proud he was. dale was always smiling and always up. Know that he touched a lot of lives and his memories will go on.
