Christopher Manning, devoted family man, successful entrepreneur, and learned scholar, died on June 29, 2014. He was 57. Christopher was born in New York in 1957. A history buff, he studied avidly and earned a Master’s Degree in the subject. Christopher owned and operated several thriving businesses, but his true passion was his family. He loved traveling with his wife and older sons, enjoying the beach with his youngest son, and spending time with his extended family. Christopher was a voracious reader and would always be found with a book in his hand. He was very active—a Tae Kwon Do black belt, Christopher worked out frequently and enjoyed walks with his dog Shelby.
Christopher was generous beyond compare and devoted much time and resources to chartable causes. He had a zest for life and learning, which he satisfied through travel and exploration in the United States and many other countries. He had grace and manners that are rarely seen these days, and often wrote hand written letters and notes to the people he loved.
Christopher Manning is survived by his wife Susan and his three sons Christopher, Nicholas, and Phillip.
He will be forever loved and missed.
