Carol Louise Youngross (DeMartino), age 64, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024. Born on March 5, 1960, in New Haven, Connecticut, Carol moved to Florida with her family in 1973. She graduated from Coconut Creek High School in 1978, later earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a CPA certification.
Carol spent over 30 years working at Pero Family Farms, where her hard work, dedication, and professionalism were admired by all who knew her. But her greatest accomplishments and joys came from her family.
Carol's most treasured moments were watching her sons, Joseph (Rachel) and Vincent, play baseball. A diehard Yankees fan, she was passionate about the game and took immense pride in cheering for her boys. One of the happiest blessings of her life was meeting her granddaughter, Elle, this year — a gift she will always cherish.
Carol was predeceased by her father, Vincent DeMartino, her mother, Phyllis, and her brother, Vincent Jr. She is survived by her devoted husband, Mark, whom she loved deeply since she was 18 years old, as well as her sister and best friend, Anna DeMartino. Carol’s love for her family was boundless, and her legacy will continue through the lives of her sons, granddaughter, and those she loved so deeply.
A memorial service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held at St Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church- 840 George Bush Blvd., Delray Beach, FL 33483 on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Lung Association in Carol’s honor.
Carol will be remembered for her warmth, her boundless love for her family, her dedication, and her joy in life. She will be greatly missed but forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
