Antonio Petosa, 80, passed away on September 19th with immediate family by his side. Having immigrated from Italy when he was 16, he moved his young family to Florida to begin a new career in teaching in 1972. He was passionate about helping kids and devoted his life to that pursuit, only stopping when facing a battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. He was also a devoted family man, taking extreme pride in his children and grandchildren's busy lives. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Anne, his son Frank (Susan) and grandchildren Hannah, Sam, Alexandria and Stefan. He was also predeceased by his daughter Tara (Christopher) in 2017. He meant the world to his family and his larger than life presence will be greatly and forever missed.
A memorial service is planned for Thursday, September 23rd, at Babione Funeral Home in Boca Raton.
