Please join us in remembering Anthony Cucci, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was married for 66 years to the late Florence. He was a dedicated caregiver to Florence for the last 5 years of her life until she lost her battle with Alzheimers. He was a loving father and best friend to son Robert who was his only child. He was a devoted grandfather to Michelle, Robert Jr and wife Kerri, Kristen, Nichole and Kevin, and great grand-father to Garrett and Isabella. He was adored by his many nieces and nephews, Richard, Frances, Joanne, Bob, Diane, Paul, Joseph, Lorraine, Carol, Matt, Joseph, Charles, Maria, James, Lorraine, Susan, Barbara, Linda, Larry and all their children. He was also survived by sister in law Mary, sister in law Tina and brother in law Tony and friend and neighbor Debra. Preceded in death by mother Laura, father Dominic, sisters Hilda, Norma, Marie and Laura, and brother and sister in laws Jimmy and Betty, Al and Rosalie, and brother in law Joe.
Anthony grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y. He worked hard at all his business ventures, but retired early enough to enjoy life in Florida. He moved to Clearwater in 1970, and enjoyed the beautiful beaches, tennis and golf. He also enjoyed, Jupiter, Delray, Palm Beach Gardens, Boca and Boynton once he moved to South Fla. Once retired, he traveled extensively with wife Florence to the many places they always wanted to see. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Although he was the only boy, and grew up with 4 sisters, he had a special bond with his brother in law Tony who was like a brother to him. They shared many vacations, laughs, conversations, and good times.
Anthony was strong willed, charismatic, and had a great sense of humor. He was honest and sensitive. He will be missed by everyone who knew him and loved him.
