Ronnie Dale Richardson

Ronnie Dale Richardson, age 64, of Bedford, Indiana, formerly of Bloomington, died Tuesday at his residence. Born October 22, 1953 in Bloomington, he was the son of Wilson W. “Bill” and Effie (Kinney) Richardson. Ronnie retired from Sabin. He was a good-natured man and loved spending time with his family, grilling out and watching I.U. Men’s Basketball, especially during the Bob Knight era. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Ronnie is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Kathy Richardson, of Bloomington and two sisters, Shiela Bryant, of Bedford and Shirley Jones, of Bloomington. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Kenny Richardson, Keith Richardson and Larry Richardson. The funeral service will be on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home; 4150 E. Third St. with Pastor Richard Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Salt Creek Cemetery.
