I am very sorry to hear about Ms. Arbuckle's passing. When I was a student at Chapelwood Elementary, Ms. Arbuckle spent time with me working on my speech impediment. I had a very severe lisp. We worked hard, and I was able to overcome that lisp. I am now the General Manager of WBDG radio at Ben Davis High School and work in the radio industry. I could not have done it without that work we put in together all those years ago. I appreciate her kindness and patience. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. My thoughts are with her family. Please know she made a very important difference in my life.

I was shocked to hear of Nancy's passing.  We were sorority sisters at Indiana University and both majored in speech and language pathology.  We have been in contact every year since our birthdays are one day apart.  I visited Nancy in Indianapolis numerous times.  She visited my in Portland, OR a few years ago.  This is sad.

We built our house next to Ed and Nancy back in 2001.  We were forced to use the same home builder that belonged to a religious cult, so Ed and Nancy thought we were part of that cult too - they were so happy to see that we were just "normal" people.  One day we got an urgent phone call from Nancy to come over ASAP.  We rushed over to see Ed and Nancy standing in their front yard with Ed displaying a Rattlesnake that he had just wrangled, a big 5-footer!  Nancy was gleaming with pride standing behind her man.  After Ed passed Nancy felt it was time to move to a Retirment community and we all understood why.  We still stayed in touch and met her for lunch when she was in AZ.  We last had lunch with her right before her horrible car accident and that was the last time, we saw her.  We were left with a last good memory of Nancy.  She was someone who had a great sense of humor, but always told it to you straight.   We will miss her, but we know she is at peace now with Ed again.   God Speed Nancy.

I am so sorry  Nancy was my god  mother and favorite cousin she always stayed in touch very loved will be missed I just found out it’s too late of notice for me to make it there my love is with you all   

Nancy and I met when we first moved to AZ. She was holding Abby in the church office and I walked in behind her. I said to her, “I absolutely love your sweet dog. You don’t know me but I’m a good person and I’d love to dog sit for you.” The rest is history.  It was 12 years of the most wonderful friendship that I’ll carry in my heart forever.  

My husband and I went to ATHS with Nancy in the 50’s.  Nancy and I belonged to the T.A.G.S. and have kept in touch all of these years.  I will really miss our chats..  She loved her family and especially her little dog.  She has had a rough couple of years so R.I.P.

Nancy Dell and I lived next door to each other for many years. Our families were always back and forth and very close. I can only say that that her family and all of her many friends have lost a lovely and true friend. She was one of the most positive thinking persons I have had the pleasure of knowing. She cared about everyone that she ever met or was associated with. I will miss her more than I can say. RIP Dear Nancy, you deserve it. From My Family to You and Yours.

Even though Nancy was an avid IU fan and I am a Purdue fan we had many great times and adventures  in Arizona!  For many years we attended seasonal plays and musicals in Mesa and shared many meals and parties with friends and numerous  social events through Gold Canyon United Methodist Church.
Of course, we had never met before attending the same worship service over 22 years ago, but God has such a wonderful sense of humor and sat three Hoosiers very close together in that service and we immediately became friends.  I will miss her dearly.

I first met Nancy in Arizona, and we shared many wonderful moments there through church and friends.  We often connected when she returned to Indiana.  She will be missed by so many.




Nancy was a special person who will leave a noticeable void in my life and my heart. She was a lifelong friend who had grown up next to my father, John Miller, and aunt, Pam Miller Carpenter. There was never a time that she was not considered a member of the family. Over the years, there were countless holidays and other family gatherings that would not have felt complete without Nancy's smile and laugh. She was so much a part of the family that some of her favorite recipes are included in our family cookbook that I compiled, many years ago. I was always amazed at her thoughtfulness in remembering everyone's birthday, including my children's.   Nancy's positive and upbeat nature will be sorely missed by the entire Miller Family. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Nancy's family and friends during this difficult time.



Growing up next door to Nancy meant that she was like a sister to me and her parents were like second parents.  I was always inspired by Nancy’s love of people and life, and she was the living definition for “young at heart.”  She also loved IU basketball and we always rooted for each other’s teams (except when playing against one another).  She truly was a light in my life who will be terribly missed.  Thank you, Nancy, for all that you meant to me.
