Lillian Wanda Knight

Lillian Wanda Knight, 89, of Bloomington, died Friday, May 2, 2014 in Garden Villa Health Care Center. She was born November 26, 1924 in Bloomington, Indiana to Roy Campbell and Sarah E. Chandler Campbell. Lillian had worked at RCA and for MCL Cafeteria. She was a great mother, a wonderful sister, a loving aunt and a kind hearted, warm person. She attended Highland Faith Assembly of God and was a member of the F.O.E. Auxiliary, Aerie # 1045. Survivors include her two sisters, Betty Wikle and Doris Levato both of Bloomington; six step children, Janet Terry and husband Glenn, Rick Knight and wife Susan, Brady Knight, Jr. and wife Pat, Roger Knight and wife Bonnie, Roberta Sholtz and Husband J.R. and Goldie Deckard; a step son-in-law, Doug Chrivia; eighteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Brady O. Knight, Sr.; a brother, Robert Campbell; two sisters, Helen Baker and Joan Gose; five brothers-in-law, Ermil “Red” Wikle, Louis Levato, Wade Baker, Charlie Fipps and Richard Gose; a foster brother, Cecil Hendricks; and a step-daughter, Lillian Chrivia. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 1:00 PM in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel, 700 W Gourley Pike, with Pastor Harold Godsey officiating. Private Entombment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Wednesday May 7, 2014 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
