Leroy Dalton
25 July, 1933 – 13 April, 2011
Leroy Dalton, 77, of Bloomington passed away Wednesday April 13, 2011 at Bloomington Hospital. He was born to the late Albert Augustus and Ada Neadley (Anderson) Dalton on July 25, 1933 in Ellettsville, IN. He was a retired self Employed Roofer who loved to fish and mushroom hunt. He was a member of the Bethel Community Holiness Church and was a workaholic. He was a veteran of the US Air Force during Korea.
He is survived by his wife: Shirley (Gosser) Dalton of Bloomington, four sons and their wives: Russell & Trish Spicer of Ellettsville, Anthony & Samantha Dalton of Solsberry, Timmy & Debbie Dalton of Bloomington and Doug & Nancy Dalton of Bloomington, three Daughters and their husbands: Linda & Chuck Campbell of Bloomington, Teresa & Allan Wall of Springville and Cindy & Bob Chapman of Lawrenceport, IN, 15 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren, two brothers and their wives: Ira & Thelma Dalton of Bloomington and Bill & Janet Dalton of Indianapolis, Three Sisters: Mary Gill of Indianapolis, Helen & Cletius Deckard of Unionville and Shirley & Don Hays of Bloomington. Also Several Nieces & Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a Daughter: Misty Dawn Dalton.
Friends and family may visit from 4 to 8 PM Friday at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, the service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Mortuary with burial following at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Roger Helton and Shannon Benham will officiate.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Paralyzed American Veterans in care of the Mortuary.
