So sorry to hear about John's passing. He was a kind and generous man. He supported young artists through Pygmalion's Art Supplies gift certificates, presented to young visual artists who won awards each year in the National Society of Arts and Letters competition. And he loved cats! As I said, he was a good man who will be missed. ❤



 John Wilson and I have been friends for over 40 years. Our friendship began when I met him at the KU bookstore. He was my boss and he taught me about art supplies. He also enhanced my appreciation for art and I have several of his pieces hanging in my home. Our friendship lasted a long time and he was even in my wedding. More importantly  we shared a common faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. John was always faithful to keep in touch by calling or visiting several times a year. And we spoke more often in the past year through his recent severe illness. He knew that I would pray for him and that I would find others to pray for him as well. I am glad but sad that his battle is over and he is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior. I miss you brother. And I love you a whole bunch.
