Emma Lillian Mallory, age 90, of Bloomington, died Wednesday evening (03/13/2019) at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospital. Born April 22, 1928 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Edward and Thelma (Clay) Butcher. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl McCrocklin, of Bloomington, granddaughter, Regina “Gina” Forrest, of Bloomington; two grandsons, Jaydon Forrest and Tynen Forrest and one sister, Donna Moore, of Bedford, Indiana.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Butcher and Thelma (Clay) Butcher Pfaff, first husband, Jesse McCrocklin, second husband, Rev. George Mallory, two brothers, Dallas Pfaff and Ervin Pfaff and two sisters, Patricia Lucas and Joy Pfaff.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Bruce Rose officiating. Friends may gather from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
The family suggests to friends who wish that memorial contributions be given to the Second Baptist Church.
