Dennis Joseph Biro, 80, of Bloomington passed away Sunday May 5, 2024 in his home. He was born July 15, 1943 in Gary, Indiana to Arthur L. Biro and Stella A. Kielczewski Biro. He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Koreen Morgan-Biro of Bloomington; a sister, Sandra Steele of Morgantown, Kentucky; three brothers, Kenneth Biro of Bloomington, Arthur Biro and Steven Biro both of Logansport, Indiana; two grandchildren, Travis and Mackenzie Biro; a daughter in law, Rhonda Biro; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Todd Biro; and two brothers, David and Michael Biro.
Dennis was of the Catholic Faith. Memberships include the Experimental Aircraft Association and the Association of Aeronca Owners. He was a private pilot, a hot air balloonist, drone operator and model airplane builder and flyer, basically anything that flew Dennis was interested in it. He had also served his Country in the National Guard.
No services are being planned locally, there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date in Princeton, Wisconsin. Arrangements are under the direction of Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home.
