David Allen Turpin

It is with profound sadness that we announce the loss of our precious brother, David Allen Turpin. David passed away on March 29, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. David was born May 3, 1960 in Chapel Hill, Indiana to Peggy (Smith) and Jesse Turpin. David is survived by his sisters, Karen (Joe) Tamewitz of Bloomington and Sandra (Matt) Smith of Indianapolis; and all of his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother; his father; his stepfather, Eris Holt; and his brother, Farren “Pete” Turpin. David enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing and working in his garden. David will especially be missed by his cousin, Danny Kidd. David and Danny shared a lifelong friendship and were brothers at heart and partners in crime. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Danny for everything he has done to help us through this difficult time, but mostly for how much he loved our brother. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM in the Dolan Ridge Community Church, 4885 E Robinson Rd.
