Christy Ann Watkins

Christy Ann Watkins, age 60, of Bloomington, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 in the Indiana University Hospice House in Bloomington. Born November 27, 1962 in Columbus, Indiana, she was the daughter of Jesse J. and Anna Lorene (Powell) Watkins. Christy received her Bachelor of Science degree from the I.U. Kelley School of Business. She was employed as a Procurement Services Business Analyst at Indiana University where she loved her job and all her co-workers as much. She had a special affection for her pets, other animals and nature in general. Christy was an avid bowler where she had been involved with many different leagues at Classic Lanes Bowling Center.

She is survived by her loving family; her son, Cameron Bryan, his husband, Ryan Scott and their partner Joseph Potter, all of Bloomington, her daughter, Caitlin Bryan and her husband, William Smith, of Ellettsville, two grandchildren, Mabel Smith and Anna Smith, her best friend, Beth May, of Bloomington, one brother and one sister.

Christy was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Cremation rites will be accorded. The family is planning a small gathering for the future.
