Wayne’s joy of camping, fishing and boating while spending time with family and friends was contagious, and he always brought out the best in everyone. Wayne’s live and let live attitude and laid back friendliness made him many lifelong friends, all with limitless stories of the great times they shared in his company. Wayne adored his wife and best friend Debbie, cherishing memories of their many RV trips and their 34 years of love. Wayne’s immense pride in their son Matt, was evident in any conversation you had with him. Wayne founded Covington Services LLC, in 1989, operating it with his wife and son. Over the years Covington Services continued to grow expanding into a trucking, one of Wayne’s true loves. Wayne’s love of his dogs, who were always by his side, whether at meal times (Wayne was a great source for snacks), out on the boat, or just kicking back, was only surpassed for their love for him. Wayne proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War. Visitation will be Monday 4:00−7:00 p.m., and funeral will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home.
