Nola Kay Embry

She is survived by her mother Betty of Bloomington, IL; her sister Karen (Paul) Kesner of Staunton, VA; her brothers Jeff (Bev) Embry of Cross Plains, TN, Brian (Penny) Embry of Knox, IN, and Tim (Sarah Mikulecky) Embry of Bloomington, IL; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Nola taught school in Canton. She also worked as an accounts manager for Wildwood. She was an accounts manager for Republic Services at the time of her death. She was an active member of Point of Change Church of the Nazarene and had many wonderful church friends. She loved music and expressed her musical talents in teaching and with the church.

Visitation for Nola will be Wednesday, May 20 from 5-8pm at East Lawn Funeral Home, 1102 Airport Rd. Bloomington. Services will be Thursday, May 21 at 10:00am also at East Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Gardens. A reception will be held at the POC Church of the Nazarene 2407 Beich Rd. Bloomington, IL 61705 (IBEW Union Hall) following the burial.
