Marjorie is survived by her children, Bruce (Robin) Oldfather, Sherri (Bill) Rich, Debbie (Doug) Tabor, Darlene (Jim) Gray, and Marlene (Rob) Galante. She also had a son, Mark Oldfather, who preceded her in death. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one grandchild. She is survived by 2 sisters, Sandy (Larry) Danforth in Pontiac, IL and Ruth (Donald) Woodall in Dacula, GA.
First and foremost, Marjorie was a proud mother of 6 kids. She held many jobs, but her favorite was working and retiring from Purdue University where she was an accounting clerk. She was an avid sports fan and you could always hear her cheering on her favorite teams, Purdue and the Chicago Cubs. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling and taking cruises.
A Celebration of Life Open House will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, June 28th at Calvary Community Church, 112 Calvary Way, Washington, IL 61571.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
