John H. Gross passed away peacefully at 4:40 am, September 1, 2022, with his wife Dorothy by his side. John was born March 12, 1939 in Pennsylvania. He married Dorothy in Bloomington, IL, on June 12, 1985.
John worked as an Installation Foreman for GTE and AT&T, retiring after 40 years of service. John enjoyed country music, gardening, and was an avid Cubs fan. John will be missed by all.
Surviving are his wife Dorothy, step children Jimmy (Cheri) Huff, Tim (Sandy) Huff, Heidi Hargis. 7 grandchildren; Todd (Vicki) Huff, Tiffany Bode, Chad Huff, Travis (Kristen) Huff, Jarrett Huff, Tyler Hargis, Marissa Huff. 9 great grandchildren; Shelby Huff, Kendall Huff, Nolan Huff, Beau Huff, Lucas Huff, Taylor Bode, Brittany Bode, Cameron Bode, Opal Huff.
