Candice Jill Funk

She was born February 8, 1948 to Joseph and Evelyn Jeanne (Leetch) Carroll in Bloomington, IL.

She is survived by her son Troy (Paula) Tracy; grandchildren Eric, Tiffany, Amanda, David; great grandchildren Nichole, Chase, Jersey, Blake, Lucas; four brothers Gary, Rick, Denny (Pat), Bruce (Tina), two sisters Misty (Rod) and Christa (Shane). Many nieces and nephews: Linda, Carol, Tammy, Larry, Trish, Valerie, Kelly, Michelle, Kristina, Natasha, Sabrina, Tyson, Tynan, Jason, Brandon, Dustin, Daniel, Jared, Kailey, Kyle, Josh, and Jacob. And many more great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her significant other of 30 years Guy Seth Jr. aka Buster, her parents, son Darrin McWhorter, sisters Betty Lee and Jolene, nieces Sheilie and Stacy, nephew Denny Paul.

Candy grew up in Bloomington and attended Holy Trinity school and Bloomington high school. She was employed with Eureka company and later with Wolfe cleaners she also worked concession at Holiday pool many years.

She enjoyed fishing, going to the races with her son and thoroughly enjoyed being around her Son and grandson. She was loved by so many and will be missed.

Cremation rites have been accorded. At this time there are no services scheduled.

Memorial contributions may be made in Candice’s name to the Community Cancer Center, Normal.
