In Loving Memory of Lourdes “Lulu” Roaring Poblador
February 11, 1939 – April 21, 2025
Born in Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines, Lourdes “Lulu” Roaring Poblador was a woman whose heart embraced everyone she loved—and she was deeply loved in return.
Seven years ago, she lost her beloved husband, Armelino Doronila Poblador. Together, they built a beautiful life and lovingly raised four devoted daughters: Pinky, Arlene, Aireen and Mae. Their love and partnership became the foundation of a family rooted in faith, strength, and unity.
Lulu was the heart of her family. Known for her warmth, generosity, and quiet strength, she touched countless lives with her gentle presence. She had a passion for traveling, a deep love for nature, and most of all, she found joy in being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a true “foodie” that had a joy for food and enjoyed the warmth of shared meals. Her hospitality, where love, laugher, and definitely food were always served in abundance, created memories that would last long after the meal is finished. Her laughter, her stories, and the way she spoiled her apos with food and affection will forever echo in the hearts of those she left behind.
Together with our dad, she held on to the wisdom of Proverbs 22:6: “Train a boy in the way he should go so even when he grows old he will not depart from it.”
She lived by this scripture—and it shows. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren are reflections of the love and values she instilled.
Her cherished grandchildren are Tin-Tin, Krizia, Kamille, Kyle, Aya, Shem, Julia, Nicole, & Seth. And she was blessed with great-grandchildren: Andrei, Sofia, Zoe, Zeo, and Cali—each one adored by their Lola Mommy.
Though we mourn her passing, we hold on to a beautiful promise. The family eagerly looks forward to seeing her again in the new paradise on earth, as it says in Acts 24:15: “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”
We are comforted knowing that Jehovah, our loving Father, has promised something even more precious. As we read in Revelation 21:4: “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away.”
Lulu’s legacy is one of unwavering faith, endless love, and a life well-lived. We will miss her dearly, but our hearts find peace in the hope that this is not goodbye—just a temporary parting until we see her again.
