Arthur Dixon 78, passed away August 28, 2012 surrounded by his family. Born in Orange, New Jersey he lived thirty three years in Fontana. He loved all sports with a focus on football and baseball. He also loved jazz and blues music, playing cards and dominoes. He was most proud of being a bus driver for Omni Trans from 1980 to 1996 and a member of the Masonic Lodge in the San Bernardino area.
He is proceeded in death by his sister Connie Poole and his loving wife of 20 years Mabeline Dixon. He is survived by two sons Steven (Kathy) and Mark (Brenda) Dixon and a sister Betty Mungin. He is survived also by two stepdaughters Vicky (Harold) Sumpter and Beverly (Arnell) Magic, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday, September 7 at Green Acres Mortuary Chapel. Viewing will be at 10:00AM with the chapel service at 12:00PM. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park.
