Laura Ann Maccarone

She was born in Newark and lived in Belleville for many years before moving to E. Brunswick 14 years ago. Laura worked as a front end manager for Shop Rite for 30 years. Arrangements are by the Zarro Funeral Home (www.zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield. Visitation will be Sunday, October 1st from 2-6 pm. Kindly be at the funeral home on Monday, October 2nd by 9:30 am followed by a mass at 10:30 am at Holy Family Church, Nutley. The burial will be at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Laura is survived by her loving children, Nicole Cruz and her husband, Jimmy, Peter Maccarone and Colleen; dear mother Carol (nee Kimble) Pomponio; brother, Louis Pomponio and his wife, Maryann; grandchildren, Viana, Giada and Brian; nieces, Danielle, Michelle and Jenna. She was predeceased by her father, Louis Pomponio, and brother, Brian Pomponio.
