Johnson, Shirley Gilfeather, age 70 of Birmingham passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018. She was born on October 5, 1947 in Birmingham, AL to Michael and Elizabeth Gilfeather. She was a graduate of UAB. She was a Medical Lab Technician at the Clinical Lab Sciences Dept. for the Medical Technology Program for over 30 years.
Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Dallas Victor Johnson; sister, Linda Gilfeather Lord and brother, Michael Gilfeather III.
Ms. Johnson is survived by her children, Victor (Donna) Johnson, and Karen (Mike) Camlic; grandchildren, David Johnson, Adam Camlic, Kyle Camlic, and Abby Camlic; great grandchild, Victoria Johnson; sister, Betty Hendricks; sister-in-law, Emmie (Dr. Tim) Brophy; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other family members.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 25, 2018 beginning at 1:30 PM followed by a graveside service at 2:30 PM at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel 800 Dennison Ave. SW Birmingham, AL 35211.
