Seaborn E. Bussey Jr.

Seaborn Ealm Bussey, Jr. of Pelham, AL passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his children; Karen Harwood (Mark) of Alabaster, AL and John Bussey (Kelly) of Morris, AL. Grandchildren Kendra and Marlana Harwood, and Jake Bussey. Brother Jerry Bussey of St. Petersburg, FL., and Pat Bussey also of FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Joan Bynum Bussey; his father, Seaborn Ealm Bussey SR., mother, Blanche Everette Higdon Bussey Wells; siblings Stanley Bussey and Mary Ann Bussey (Kelly).

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and the excellent and compassionate staff at UAB Emergency Room, Neurological ICU, and the Palliative Care & Comfort Unit. We are forever thankful.

A visitation for Seaborn will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel, 800 Dennison Ave Sw, Birmingham, AL 352113812. A celebration of life will occur Friday, June 21, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 800 Dennison Ave Sw, Birmingham, AL 352113812. A committal service will occur Friday, June 21, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 12:35 PM, 800 Dennison Ave Sw, Birmingham, AL 352113812.
