Rebecca “Becky” M Smith, age 69 of Chelsea, Alabama, and formerly of Hayden, Alabama passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023. Becky was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Becky had been in the accounting industry for almost 30 years. She was a graduate of West End High School. She was preceded in death by her loving husband; Mike Smith, parents; Ted and Virginia McCoy, her brother; Luke McCoy. Becky is survived by her two sons, Eric Smith (Ashley) and Chad Smith (Kelsey); her step daughter; Hollie Quinn (Austin); grandchildren, Colby Smith, Kimberly Owen, Mary Brooke Smith, and Shelbie Smith; three sisters, Pat Seale, Cindy McBee and Teresa Young. A funeral service for Becky will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 beginning at 11:00 AM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235 followed by burial at Forest Crest Cemetery.
