Ralph (Victor) Hughey, 64 of Alabaster left his earthly body to join his Savior on December 21, 2019. Victor was born in Arizona and raised in Shannon, Al. He attended Lipscomb and Shades Valley Schools. Vic loved Alabama football and Gunsmoke. He was preceded in death by his father Ralph B. Hughey, and his daughter Heather L. Hughey. He is survived by his mother Charlotte C. Cooper, sisters R. Susie Lacy, Charisse H. Britnell, Janie Thompson, Randy Cooper, and J.R. Cooper. Services will be held on January 3, 2020 at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM and the graveside services will start at 1:00 PM.
