Patricia Miller Stevens, a longtime resident of Birmingham, Alabama, passed fifteen days after the loss of her husband Eli T. Stevens.
A native of Florala, Alabama, Patricia, lovingly known as Pat, was raised in Alexander City, Alabama, where she was among the first class to graduate from Benjamin Russell High School. She spent her summers life-guarding and water skiing on Lake Martin. She attended Auburn University where she met her husband Eli. Pat’s world revolved around her family and truly making every day a celebration of life.
Patricia Miller Stevens is survived by her son Tom Stevens, daughter-in-law Stacy, and their two children, Mary Farley and Miller; her son Father Elias Stevens (Bogue), daughter-in-law Kasandra, and their three children, Eli (Kellie), Olivia, and Anna; her daughter Mary Stevens Flach, son-in-law Pete, and their three children, Philip (Shelby), Patricia, and Crawford; her daughter Leila Stevens Morton, and two children, William and Ann Miller Morton, and son-in-law Bill Morton. Pat is also survived by her sister, Dorris Atkins (Charlie Welch) and brother Bogue Miller (Becky). She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Eli T. Stevens; parents, Bogue and Leila Miller; one sister, Susie Connalley; and her infant grandson Edgar Morton.
To Salome who cared for Pat as if she were her own family for the past two years, and caregivers Inelle, LaArchsha and Natasha who recently came into her life, you all are pure examples of Godly service. Your mark on Pat and her family's lives will be eternal, and words will never be enough to show our gratitude.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 10 o’clock AM at Holy Trinity-Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Funeral to follow at 11 o’clock AM and burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
