Marie Janet Pitts, 81 of Nauvoo, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Pitts and her son, Vincent Pitts. Survivors include Mrs. Pitt’s daughter, Petrinia Barden, Rose Ann Gray, and Cynthia Pitts; her sons, Ronnie Pitts, Sam Pitts, and Michael Pitts; and thirteen grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday beginning at 12:00 pm followed by a graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham. at 2:00 pm
