Mallory Jackson went to be with the Lord January 9, 2020 at the age of 61. She grew up in Mountain Brook, Alabama and later attended Auburn University and UAB. She obtained her CPA certification and joined her family's firm that was started by her grandfather. Mallory served as the treasurer for the Alabama Republican Party for two terms and was a founding member of the Shelby County Republican Women. For many years she owned the historic Jackson Four Mile Farm in Wilsonville, where she raised cattle, sheep and chickens. She also served as a board member for the fire department in Four Mile. She also was very involved with CFO camp at Camp Sumatanga in Gallant. She is predeceased by her father Homer Arlin Jackson,Jr (whom she adored), and a sister Sally Powell Jackson. She is survived by her mother, Betty Jackson, sister, Ginger Jackson and nephew Davis Campbell, III, her cousin, Madge Jackson all of Birmingham and her god-daughter, Dorothy White of Hueytown. She will be missed by many, many friends. Visitation will be Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m at Elmwood Chapel. Graveside services will immediately follow the visitation. The reverend John Mount will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Alabama Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 2200 Woodcrest Pl, suite 230, Bham, AL. 35209. .
