After graduating from Erwin High School in 1982, Lori, who was an Alabama fan, went onto get a degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University in 1987. She was known for her beautiful artistic ability and creativity, and her sense of humor was unlike no other. Lori was stronger than any realized and never complained. She was loved greatly and will never be forgotten by all who knew her.
Lori is preceded in death by her father, Bill Morgan; her mother, Billie West Morgan; and her sister, Lisa M. Blackmon.
Left to cherish Lori’s memory are her sister, Leigh Morgan (Phillip) McCary; nephews, Daniel McCary and Nick McCary; niece, Morgan A. (Dewayne) Blackmon; great-nieces, Westlyn, Le’Myah, and De’Aria; cousin, Reba West, whose compassion, care and undying love for Lori was unparalleled; along with many other extended family members.
A Memorial Service for Lori will be at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Thursday, June 28, 2018, at 7:00 pm with a visitation beginning at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in Lori’s name to any animal rescue group or animal shelter of your choice.
