BATES, LINDA DIANNE, earned her angel wings Saturday December 24, 2016 at 69 years young. She is dancing at the reunion with her “Nu-Nu” Kenneth in Heaven. Her legacy of grace and strength shall continue through her children Frank, Patty, Jerri Lynn, and Kensi as well as many grand and great grand-children. Devoting her life to provide for her children and seeing them happy was her biggest joy. She cherished her siblings Edwin, Margaret, Eugene, and particularly her sister Judy. Linda so loved her APTV family and members. Pallbearers are Ryan Schaub, Gene Coleman, Jimmy Hannah, Parker Lancaster, Brantley Hannah, Phillip Williams. Honorary pallbearers and special thanks to Dr. Lakhanpal, Dr. Guffin, Palmerdale Fire Dept, and APT. Her life was full of fun, laughter, and yellow Camaros; her genuine smile will be missed by many. Services will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham; visitation Wednesday Dec. 28, 2016 from 5-8pm and graveside service on Thursday Dec. 29 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers make memorial contributions to Alabama Public Television (APT) in her honor.
