Sarah Katheryn Garner (Kat) passed away Sunday October 13th peacefully at her home in Northport. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years James Leroy Garner (Buddy); daughter Pamela Miller; siblings William Higginbotham, Evelyn Brooks, Maxine Hall, C.W. Higginbotham, and Larry Higginbotham.
Katheryn is survived by her sister Johnny Holt; daughter Robin Dickey; six grandchildren, James Dickey, Lee Dickey, Adam Dickey, Jeremiah Dickey, Melissa Ianniello ( BJ) , Nathan Miller ( Valerie), and a host of great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday October 17th, 2024 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel from 10AM-11AM with service and graveside service to follow at Hopewell Baptist Cemetery.
