Jane Strong Lewis, a native of Birmingham, passed away April, 27, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gene Wheeler Lewis, Sr.; children Carolee Lewis Followill (Dick), Ann Lewis Upshaw (Jeff), and Gene Wheeler Lewis, Jr. (Martha); seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother Dr. Jack Perry Strong and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jane was a woman of strong faith her whole life. She was a member of Canterbury United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be Monday, April 30, 2018 at 1:45 pm with a memorial service to follow at 2:30 pm at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
