Walter Grady Hester passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2014, at the age of 72. He was retired from the City of Birmingham Court System and was an Amateur Radio Operator. He was retired from the Air Force and was a Master Mason. Grady was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus M. and Mildred E. Hester and is survived by one brother, Richard Hester, one niece, Lisa Jones (David), one nephew, Keith Hester (Laurie), and five grand nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Monday September 8, 2014 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Ridouts-Trussville. The funeral will be on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 11:00am, with burial immediately following at Forest Crest Cemetery.
