Geraldine “Jerri” Brooks, age 86, of Birmingham Alabama, went home to be with the Lord and Pop. Jerri is preceded in death by her loving husband; Raymond D Brooks, her parents; Rudolph Bailey & Lona Perryman Bailey, her sisters; Ruth Curren & Anna Shuttlesworth, her brothers; Rudy, Harold, Jimmy, Billy and her Grandson; Brad Brooks. Jerri is survived by her four children; Danny Brooks (Mae), Debra Grubbs (Bruce), Donny Brooks (Patti) and David Brooks (Eileen). Jerri is survived by her sisters; Jane Carlisle & Kay Pharris. Jerri is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren with 2 more on the way. A visitation for Jerri will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Acton Memorial Cemetery ( 4660 Caldwell Mill Rd. Vestavia Hills, AL 35243)
