KIRKLAND, FRANK W., age 77 of Trussville passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, James W. and Ida Mulkin Kirkland; and brothers, D.G. Mulkin, Jimmy Kirkland and Billy Kirkland. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Kirkland; son, Mark Edward Kirkland; brothers, Donald Kirkland (Beverly) and Ronald Kirkland (Marjorie); sister, Virginia Hayes (Steve); sister-in-law, Shirley Kirkland; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Frank worked for Mason Corporation until 1990 when he opened his own business, The Blind Place. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel beginning at 2 PM. There will be a graveside service on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Alabama National Cemetery beginning at 1:15 PM.
