Eleanor Glover Hulsey

Mrs. Eleanor Hulsey, age 90, a native of Birmingham and longtime resident of Ashville, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023. She was born on November 17, 1932 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Joe Harris Glover and Eva Allen Glover.

Mrs. Hulsey is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Edward Hulsey, Sr., her sisters, Doris Corbin, Katherine Duke, Mary Jo Coward and Hazel Weber, and by her son James Edward Hulsey, Jr.

Mrs. Hulsey is survived by her daughters, Donna Prater (Mike), Rome, GA; Nora Chandler (John), Trussville, AL; Rebecca Keaton, Kennesaw, GA; her grandchildren, Emily Poma (Alex); Powder Springs, GA; Jennifer Smith, Highlands, NC; Thomas Wheeler, Lavonia, GA; Caleb Prater (Liz), Rome, GA; Kirk Yardley, Trussville, AL; Joe Yardley, Los Angeles, CA; Isabella Keaton, Dahlonega, GA; Michael Keaton, Cincinnati, Ohio; and Eli Keaton, Kennesaw, GA; several great grandchildren as well as nephews and nieces.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Forest Crest Cemetery, 5730, U.S. 78, Birmingham, AL 35210.
