Donna Jo Caldwell, 76, went home to be with the Lord on January 9, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, John Joseph Strachan; mother, Nola Maxine Montgomery Strachan; and brother, Joey Strachan. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Kenneth R. Caldwell; daughters, Kim Halcomb (Jason); Kristi Pearson (Kevin); Kelli Thomason; grandchildren, Ryan and Lauren Halcomb; Kenslei Selman (Matt), Kade Pearson; and Dylan Thomason; great-grandchildren, Kash, Knox, Krew, and Mattie Grace Selman.
Donna was a loving wife, mother, and nana. Her family was her world. She supported all of her family’s activities and interests. Her advice was always sound and trustworthy. She always saw the good in everyone she knew. She had a sweet and peaceful spirit and you never heard her complain. Donna loved the Lord and was a strong believer and prayer warrior.
A visitation will be on January 18, 2024 from 12:45 to 1:30 at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home. A brief service will follow in the chapel. A private family graveside service will be at a later time.
