Christine Jacques Warren of Cropwell AL passed away on October 12, 2024. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and "the best mother-in-law in the world," Mrs. Warren was a graduate of Ramsey High School before beginning a long career working in medical offices for 38 years. She was very active with the Homewood High School band boosters in the 1970s and 1980s, and afterward participated in many community projects. She was known for her cheese straws and banana nut bread, and each holiday season friends and relatives would look forward to those treats. Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her parents, Lillie Mae Myers Jacques and Harry Jacques, and sister Charlotte Jacques Frolick; husband Larry Warren. Survivors include her children Leslie Morris (Fred) and Harold Warren (Stephan Calvert); granddaughters Christie Galbraith (Darrek Weaver) and Haley Spence (Paul); great-grandsons JM and Sam Galbraith and Harrison Weaver; nephew Paul Morgan (Martha) and great-nephew Andrew Morgan. Funeral service will be Thursday, October 17, 2024, the Reverend Daniel Leavengood officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakewood Presbyterian Church, 4970 Stemley Bridge Road, Pell City AL 35125.
