Brenda Hamaker Ehrensperger, age 58, of Argo, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Walter Hamaker, Bessie Eleanor Palmer, brother, James Walter (Leon) Hamaker, sons, David Earl Ehrensperger, Jr. and Steven Earl Ehrensperger. She was born on March 12, 1955 in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from Fultondale High School and then University of Alabama Birmingham with a BS in Accounting. She is survived by her husband, David Earl Ehrensperger; daughter, Kristi Leigh Ehrensperger; sister, Blanche Franklin; nieces, Leisa Crosby; Lori Habisch; Tracy Motley; and nephew, James Randle Hamaker. Brenda was employed by Southern Research Institute from 1981-2013.
Funeral was held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 and burial followed at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Voices Insisting on PursuitSAFETY (www.pursuitsafety.org)
