Brandon Barclay Jones

Brandon Barclay Jones, age 44, of Center Point, AL unexpectedly went home to his Lord and Savior on August 20, 2024. Brandon was born on March 21, 1980 to Brenda Murray Attison and Charles R. Jones, Jr. He grew up in the Birmingham area and Attended Pinson Valley High School.

Brandon attended church at Lake Highland Methodist Church in East Lake during his youth and in recent years attended Church of the Highlands. He played little league ball at Huffman ball park while growing up. He always had a playful sense of humor and energetic personality. He was an independent contractor and general labor while working in construction.

Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gerald and Patricia Murray, and paternal grandparents, Charles R. and Virginia Jones; his step grandparents, Roy and Ruth Attison.

He is survived by his daughter, Gracie Mills; his mother, Brenda (Roy) and his father, Charles “Bob” (Darlene); four brothers, Bobby (Rosie), Daniel (Gabrielle), Brent and Steve (Meg); two sisters, Sarah and Krissa (Billy); a host of nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles, cousins and extended family. The family of Brandon would like to extend their gratitude to Shondelle and Linda for always being loving friends to Brandon.

A visitation for friends and family will be held at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Friday, August 23rd from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A celebration of Brandon’s life will follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. A committal service will immediately follow the celebration of life service at Forest Crest Cemetery in Irondale.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers please send donation in Brandon’s name to ONEeighty Church Celebrate Recovery Ministry 2024 Redemption Way Springville, AL 35146. Pastor Gresh Harbuck of ONEeighty Church in Springville will preside over the services.
