Betty Jean Linderman Potts age 87 of Hoover, Alabama passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016. Her parents, Charles and Mary Linderman and her husband, Robert Potts, preceded her in death. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on November 13, 1928. She attended Ensley High School. She is survived by her daughters, Robbie Carroll(Paul), Janice Peterson(Chris) and her son Al Potts(Sherrie), Grandchildren; Clay Carroll(Meredith), Alison Shirley(Patrick), Paige Hedrick(John Henry), Rachel Baughman(Michael), Tanner Peterson(Mason), Amanda Peterson and Leah Price(Mark), Great-Grandchildren; Ashlyn, Blake, Collin and Hunter Carroll, Piper and Hudson Hedrick and David and Charlie Peterson. The family would like to give special recognition and thanks to Lesa Priso Calhoun, Dara, Latoria, Bonnie, Latoya and Brenda. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 9am to 11am at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home with a Celebration of Her Life to follow at 11am. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Bluff Park Baptist Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
