Alice Wilson

WILSON, ALICE E passed away at her home peacefully, September 19, 2011 and now rests in the arms of her Lord and Savior. She was a member of Palmerdale United Methodist Church and the Gems of Grace Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Robert and her brother, Julius C. Fleck. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Faye Wilson; a sister, Ruby Ann Creel of Ft. Pierce, Florida; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. She was retired from Central Park Elementary School as a lunchroom manager. She was quiet, loving, and friendly- a good friend to all. She enjoyed traveling, friends, television, reading, and being with family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Palmerdale United Methodist Church or the American Lung Association. Visitation will be at Elmwood Chapel beginning at 12:00 noon followed by a service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
