Patricia A. Holden

Patricia (Pat) Holden, 79, of Binghamton, NY, passed away on September 30, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Holden, father, Arnold Gaige, grandmother, Anna Morlando and her best friend, Stella (Slavi) Falank. Pat is survived by her daughters Catherine Robinson and Cynthia Ruffo, son William Holden, mother, Catherine Gaige, sister, Jean Gaige and long-time family friend, Jean Jones. Pat's legacy includes her loving grandchildren, Heather Robinson, Tyler Ruffo and Zachary Holden, her Goddaughter, Anna Holt and her sons Ian and Shawn Holt. Pat worked for the New York Telephone Company in Binghamton as an operator and was a member of the PTA and Garden Club. Pat's greatest achievements were her tireless juggling of a mother's affairs without the assistance of a Google calendar, being the best babysitter any grandchild could ever hope for, and the tender care she provided to her loving husband in his final months of life. The family will welcome friends for calling hours on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Wm. R. Chase Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Binghamton with a service to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place immediately thereafter at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Pat's name to Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Road, Vestal.
