Tony Nelson, 80, died peacefully at home of pancreatic cancer on August 23, 2021.
He was predeceased by his parents Eric & Norma Nelson and his brother, Eric Nelson Jr.
Tony is survived by his wife Karen, daughter and son- in -law Patti & Dan Griffiths, daughter and son-in-law Amy & Matt Ivan, grandchildren, DJ & Katie Griffiths, Annabell & Samantha Ivan, brother & sister-in-law Peter & Kathy Nelson and sister-in-law Roberta Nelson. Tony was a lifetime resident of Binghamton & Port Dickinson. He graduated from Binghamton Central, having been Captain of the swim team and graduated from Xavier University in 1967. Tony spent his career as a teacher and remodeling contractor. He will be remembered for his outstanding wit, unique sense of humor and friendliness. When you were with Tony, you always had a good time even though you may have to put up with some awful golf. He was a likeable and lovable guy. A private service is being held.
