Richard Vincent Ladd

Richard Vincent Ladd, 66 of Crystal River, Florida died on Thursday, October 14, 2010. He was born in Freemont, Ohio on December 7, 1943 to Merle and Violet (Walp) Ladd. Richard was the owner and operator of Ladd's Pump Service in Citrus County, Florida. He was of the Presbyterian faith and served his country during the Vietnam Conflict with the U.S. Navy. Mr. Ladd was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #2013 in Homosassa, Florida, where he was a former District President and Governor. Richard was a thirty-second degree Mason and a member of the Springs Masonic Lodge #378 and the Masonic Lodge #324 in Inglis, Florida.

Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Ladd and sister, Mary Ladd.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Maureen A. Ladd of Crystal River, Florida; brother, Tom Ladd and wife Maggie of White Bluff, Tennessee and sister, DeeDee Ladd of Surfside, South Carolina.

A Memorial Gathering and Service will take place on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #2013, 1855 S. Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa, Florida 34448. A Mausoleum Chapel Service of Remembrance with inurnment to follow will be held at Fero Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 3, 2010.
