It is absolutely devastating to hear that Mike is no longer with us.  My heart is broken for everyone who knows and loves him. 

He was so incredibly talented and smart and funny, a real gift to this world. As his former girlfriend and friend, he always has and always will hold a very, very special place in my heart. He was my first real boyfriend, my first love and we always had so much fun together...

Sharing short stories we had both written with one another. His stories were always incredible and inspired me to do better. Reading and chatting about works from his favorite authors, Edgar Allen Poe and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. 

"In Xanadu did Kubla Khan
 A stately pleasure dome decree..." 

Talking about everything under the sun and then some. 

Getting him to dress up and go to prom with me. We had a blast! 

Feasting on Totinos pizzas and drinking chocolate milkshakes made with Nesquick or eating those wonderful brownies Mrs. Scott always used to make when I was over while we snuggled up and watched movies. 
 
Rocking out in the car with him and the Tabors to Queen's, "Bohemian Rhapsody."

Seeing films opening night together when Mike worked at the movie theater. He always bought me Twizzlers. He'd never let me pay. 

Making lots of noise with dry ice and 2 liter bottles stuffed into aluminum drainage culverts.

Jumping on the trampoline and exploring the forest behind his house. 

Experiencing my first 5 course meal at The Briarwood with him and his family.  

Making goofy movies with him that involved things like exploding ketchup packets and throwing a stuffed dummy off the roof of the house. 

Laughing at "Red Dwarf." 

I am so grateful to have known Mike. He will always be in my heart as will you, Mrs. Scott. You were always wonderful to me. My deepest condolences to you and Jim and Mr. Scott.  If there is anything I can do to help with your journey, please feel free to reach out.
