Marie Morse

Marie Morse, 80, of Pine Ridge in Beverly Hills, Florida, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2012 in the loving care of her family and the staff of Citrus Health and Rehabilitation in Inverness, Florida.

She was born in Manhattan, New York, on Sunday, October 18, 1931, to Thomas and Margaret (Riley) Moore. Marie was a retired dental assistant and moved to this area in 1986 from Plainview, Long Island, New York. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, the Polish American Club, the New Jersey and Friends Club and the West Citrus Ladies of the Elks Lodge 2693. Marie enjoyed traveling, cruising, loved to shop and loved her family and friends.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Margaret G. Moore.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Joseph Morse of Pine Ridge in Beverly Hills, Florida; daughters, Regina Morse of Crystal River, Florida, and Gerry Romano and husband, Anthony, of Atlantic Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Justine Adams and husband, Noah, Laura Romano and Anthony Romano Jr. and wife, Tara, all of Atlantic Beach, Florida; great-granddaughter, Harper Marie Romano of Atlantic Beach, Florida and nephew, Robert A. Morse of Rochelle Park, New Jersey.

Visitation, Tuesday, February 7, 2012, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Mass, Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Fero Memorial Gardens.
